Katherine Whitmore Chuapoco graduated from Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, CO in 2000, with her Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine. She is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Iowa, and is nationally board certified with by the NCCAOM. Prior to acupuncture school, Katherine graduated from Iowa Methodist School of Nursing in 1996, and maintains an active license as a Registered Nurse. Katherine has been in private practice in Des Moines since 2000. In 2001, she joined the Des Moines Veteran’s Hospital, having the distinct privilege of being the first licensed acupuncturist at a Veteran’s Hospital, specializing in pain management.
Katherine is a Des Moines native and is pleased to be apart of her community as a small business owner and health care provider.
