Brendan Dooley Chuapoco received his Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, CO. in 2000. He is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Iowa and is nationally certified by the NCCAOM. Brendan received his Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Economics from Colorado State University.
Brendan joined his wife, Katherine, as co-owner of the Center for Acupuncture in 2001. As of 2006, he splits his time doing acupuncture between his private practice and working at the Des Moines Veteran’s hospital, specializing in pain management. Brendan has the distinction of being the only acupuncturist in the State of Iowa to practice the art of Jin Shin Jyutsu, a Japanese acupressure that brings balance to the body. He learned Jin Shin Jyutsu from his well known mother, Philomena Dooley, who has traveled the world teaching this healing art.
With over 20 years of alternative healing experience, Brendan is proud to bring his unique blend of services to the state of Iowa.
