Patrick Yoerger received his Master of Acupuncture degree from the prestigious Northwestern Health Sciences University’s Minneapolis campus in 2014. Prior to his graduate studies Patrick received an Anthropology degree from the University of Iowa with studies focused in both physical and cultural anthropology.
In 2004 Patrick became a licensed massage therapist in Iowa City and began studying myofascial trigger point therapy through continuing education courses using Janet Travell’s Myofascial Pain and Dysfunction textbook . Patrick is currently an allied professional member of the National Association of Myofascial Trigger Point Therapists (NAMTPT). Patrick’s unique hands-on acupuncture and bodywork treatments focus on the painless elimination of myofascial triggerpoints or ashi points as they have been known to acupuncturists for millennia.
